How do I download a YouTube video as MP4?

What is the highest quality I can save?
The highest quality is 1080p Full HD. Below that you can choose 720p, 480p, 360p, 240p or 144p. The list only shows the qualities your video really has, so an older or smaller upload may stop at 720p or lower.
How do I save the video once it opens?
If the video starts playing in the new tab, open the browser menu (⋮) and tap Download. On an iPhone, tap Share and choose Save to Files. The first tab with CNVMP3 stays open, so you can convert the next video.
Can I save YouTube Shorts as MP4?
Yes. Paste a Shorts link the same way as any other link. The preview is shown in a tall frame, and you can pick any of the listed qualities. Shorts are short, so their files are usually small.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, it works in the browser on both. On an iPhone, saved videos go to the Files app. On Android, they go to the Download folder. From there you can move them to your photos or gallery app.
Can I download a whole playlist?
No. Each link saves one video. If you paste a link from a playlist, only the video in that link is converted. To save more videos, convert them one after another. The box stays ready for the next link.
